“The 50th Annual CMA Awards” was a homerun with more performances with more artists than any other CMA Awards in history. And fans can still relive the greatest moments on demand.

“This is a celebration of Country Music – both contemporary and the classics – that is certain to resonate with music fans,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “’The 50th Annual CMA Awards’ will certainly reflect our history, but it is equally important to recognize our current nominees and the hits of today.”

Skaggs has 21 CMA Awards nominations and eight wins, including the Horizon Award (now New Artist of the Year) in 1982 and Entertainer of the Year three years later (1985).

“The 50th Annual CMA Awards” was hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood and was broadcast live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Wednesday, Nov. 2 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network.
